Appoints National Academy to Conduct GST Practitioner Exams u/s 48, Rule 83(3.</h1> The Bihar Government's Commercial Tax Department issued Notification No. S.O. 184 on 28th May 2018, under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. It designates the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, as the authority responsible for conducting examinations for GST practitioners. This notification is enacted based on section 48 of the Act and sub-rule (3) of rule 83 of the Bihar GST Rules, 2017, and is effective from 28th May 2018.
