of <h1>Sikkim Amends GST Notification: Services by Overseeing Committee Members to RBI Now Under State Tax Rate.</h1> The Government of Sikkim has amended its notification No.13/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from October 13, 2017, adds a new entry to the existing notification. This entry, numbered 10, specifies that services provided by members of the Overseeing Committee to the Reserve Bank of India are included under the state tax rate. This amendment was made following recommendations from the Council and is documented in the Gazette of Sikkim.
