of <h1>Central Government Issues 7-Year and 5-Year 17.5% Taxable Bonds Under Section 80L of Income-tax Act, 1961.</h1> The Central Government has specified the issuance of 7-year and 5-year 17.5% taxable Secured Redeemable Non-Cumulative Bonds by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, New Delhi. These bonds, part of the VIth Series Issue, amount to 139 crores rupees and are identified by serial numbers F-13281801 to F-14671800. This specification is made under clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961, as per Notification No. S.O.540(E) dated 14th July 1994.
