of <h1>India Amends Valuation Rules: Presidents of Key Institutes Added as Ex-Officio Members u/r 19.</h1> The Companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation) Second Amendment Rules, 2018, issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India, amends the 2017 rules under the Companies Act, 2013. Effective from its publication date, the amendment adds a clause to Rule 19, Sub-rule 2, designating the Presidents of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India as ex-officio members. This notification follows previous amendments published in October 2017 and February 2018.
