of <h1>Puducherry Designates NACIN to Conduct GST Practitioner Exams u/s 48, Rule 83 of GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Puducherry, through its Commercial Taxes Department, has designated the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) as the official body to conduct examinations for GST Practitioners. This decision is made under the authority of section 48 of the Puducherry Goods and Services Act, 2017, and sub-rule (3) of rule 83 of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The notification is issued by the Commissioner of State Tax in Puducherry, following the recommendations of the GST Council.
