of <h1>Power Grid Corporation's 5-Year, 10.5% Tax-Free Bonds Approved Under Section 10(15)(iv)(h) of Income-tax Act.</h1> The Central Government has specified 5-year, 10.5% tax-free Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Bonds, each valued at Rs. 1000, issued by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited under section 10(15)(iv)(h) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. These bonds, identified by distinctive numbers B 2360001 to B 2500000, amount to a total of fourteen crores. The tax-free benefit is available only if the bondholder registers their name and holdings with the issuing corporation. This specification was formalized in Notification No. S.O.482(E) dated June 23, 1994.
