of <h1>Punjab Waives e-Way Bill Requirement for Intra-State Goods Movement for Two Months Starting April 1, 2018.</h1> The Punjab State Government, under the Punjab Goods and Service Tax Rules, 2017, announced that from April 1, 2018, no e-Way Bill is required for the movement of goods within Punjab for two months, as long as the goods do not cross state boundaries. This decision was made after consulting with the Chief Commissioner of Central Tax, Chandigarh Zone. During this period, suppliers have the option to generate e-Way Bills for intra-state supplies if they choose.
