of <h1>Meghalaya Implements E-waybill System for Intrastate Goods Movement from April 25, 2018, under MGST Rule 138.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya, through its Excise, Registration, Taxation, and Stamps Department, announces the implementation of the e-waybill system for the intrastate movement of goods effective from April 25, 2018. This action is taken under the authority of clause (d) of sub-rule 14 of Rule 138 of the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax (MGST) Rules, 2017. The notification rescinds a previous notification dated March 31, 2018. The decision follows the recommendations of the Goods and Services Tax Council and is authorized by the Commissioner of State Tax.
