of <h1>Jammu & Kashmir Sets April 1, 2018 as Start Date for GST Rule 2 Provisions u/s 164.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, under the authority of section 164 of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has designated April 1, 2018, as the effective date for implementing specific provisions of sub-rule (ii) of rule 2, excluding clauses (7), (iii), (iv), (v), (vi), and (vii), as outlined in SRO notification No. 144 of 2018 dated March 27, 2018. This decision was formalized in SRO 146, issued on March 28, 2018, by the Finance Department.
