of <h1>Ramakrishna Vedanta Math receives tax exemption under Section 10(23C)(v) for 1993-96; must adhere to specified fund use.</h1> The Central Government has notified Ramakrishna Vedanta Math, Calcutta, under section 10(23C)(v) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for the assessment years 1993-94 to 1995-96. The notification stipulates that the Math must apply its income exclusively for its established objectives and not invest funds, except voluntary contributions in certain forms, outside specified modes. Additionally, the notification excludes application to income from business profits unless the business is incidental to the Math's objectives and separate accounts are maintained.
