of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir Amends GST Notification: 9% Tax on Tractor Parts, Effective August 18, 2017.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has amended Notification No. SRO-GST 1 dated 8th July 2017, under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from 18th August 2017, the amendment adds several items related to tractors in Schedule III with a 9% tax rate. These items include tires, tubes, diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, bumpers, brakes, gearboxes, transaxles, road wheels, radiators, cooling systems, silencers, clutches, steering wheels, hydraulic parts, and various other tractor components. The amendment is issued by the Finance Department under the authority of the Principal Secretary to the Government.
