of <h1>Jammu & Kashmir waives late fee for FORM GSTR-6 filing delays u/s 128 of GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, exercising the powers under section 128 of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification waiving the late fee for registered persons who fail to file the return in FORM GSTR-6 by the due date. The late fee will be reduced to twenty-five rupees per day for the duration of the delay. This amendment is effective from January 23, 2018, as per the recommendations of the Council.
