of <h1>Chhattisgarh Govt Waives Late Fees for Delayed GSTR-4 Filings; Reduced Rates Apply Per Day of Delay.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh, exercising its authority under the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification waiving late fees for registered individuals who failed to submit their GSTR-4 returns by the due date. The late fee is reduced to twenty-five rupees per day of delay. If the return shows no State tax due, the late fee is further reduced to ten rupees per day. This waiver is implemented based on the recommendations of the Council and is formalized by the order of the Governor of Chhattisgarh.
