of <h1>Chhattisgarh Amends GST Notification: New Tax Rates for Animal Feed, Hearing Aids, and Religious Items Effective January 2018.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh, under the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 28, 2017. The amendments include changes in the classification and tax rates for various goods such as aquatic feed, poultry feed, cattle feed, de-oiled rice bran, and cotton seed oil cake. Additional changes involve the inclusion of parts for manufacturing hearing aids and modifications in entries related to agricultural tools and religious items. These amendments are effective from January 25, 2018, as ordered by the Special Secretary.
