of <h1>Punjab Amends GST Notification: Updates to Tax Schedules for Fertilizers and Other Items Effective July 1, 2017.</h1> The Government of Punjab has amended Notification No. S.O. 16/ P.A. 5/ 2017/S.9/2017, dated June 30, 2017, under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment involves changes in tax schedules: Schedule I now includes additional entries for mineral or chemical fertilizers, Schedule II omits certain serial numbers and entries, and Schedule III modifies descriptions for certain items. These changes are effective from July 1, 2017. The amendment was issued by the Financial Commissioner Taxation of the Department of Excise and Taxation in Punjab.
