of <h1>Punjab Establishes Advance Ruling Authority under GST Rules 2017 with Two Joint Commissioner Members.</h1> The Government of Punjab has constituted the Punjab Authority for Advance Ruling under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. This authority is established through the powers granted by Section 96 of the Punjab Act No. 5 of 2017. The authority will consist of two members: a Joint Commissioner from the GST, Chandigarh Zone, appointed by the Central Government, and a Joint Commissioner of State Tax, Punjab, appointed by the Government of Punjab. The notification was issued by the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner (Taxation) to the Government of Punjab, Department of Excise and Taxation.
