of <h1>Odisha reduces late fee for delayed GSTR-1 filings under GST Act 2017 to ease taxpayer burden.</h1> The Odisha State Government, under the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has announced a reduction in the late fee for delayed filing of Form GSTR-1. The late fee for registered persons failing to submit details of outward supplies by the due date is reduced to twenty-five rupees per day. If there are no outward supplies in a given month or quarter, the late fee is reduced to ten rupees per day. This waiver is based on recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council and aims to alleviate the financial burden on taxpayers.
