of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir GST Act Amendment: Threshold Limit Increased from 75 Lakh to 1 Crore Rupees u/s 10(1.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has amended Notification No. SRO 279 dated 08.07.2017 under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from 13th October 2017, involves changing the threshold limit for certain provisions from 'seventy-five lakh rupees' to 'one crore rupees.' This change is made following the recommendations of the Council, as per the powers granted under sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Act. The amendment is authorized by the Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.
