of <h1>Uttar Pradesh cuts late fees for delayed GSTR-1 filing under GST Act, 2017; effective January 23, 2018.</h1> The notification issued by the Uttar Pradesh government reduces the late fee for delayed filing of Form GSTR-1 under the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. For registered persons failing to submit details of outward supplies by the due date, the late fee is reduced to 25 rupees per day. If there are no outward supplies for any month or quarter, the late fee is further reduced to 10 rupees per day. This waiver is effective from January 23, 2018, as per the Governor's order based on the Council's recommendations.
