of <h1>Punjab GST Act Amended: FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 Event Admissions Exempt from GST.</h1> The Government of Punjab has amended Notification No. S.O.37/P.A.5/2017/S.11/2017 dated 30th June 2017, under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from 3rd October 2017, adds a new entry to the existing notification. Specifically, it introduces a provision for services related to the right of admission to events organized under the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017, which are exempt from GST. This change was made following recommendations from the Council and is authorized by the Governor of Punjab.
