of <h1>Punjab Amends GST Notification: Effective Date Changed to August 18, 2017, u/s 9 of GST Act.</h1> The Government of Punjab issued an amendment to its previous notification No. S.O.44/P.A.5/2017/S.9/2017 dated August 28, 2017, under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment changes the effective date of the original notification from 'with immediate effect' to 'on and with effect from the 18th August, 2017.' This amendment is authorized by the Governor of Punjab and documented by the Financial Commissioner Taxation and Secretary to the Government of Punjab, Department of Excise and Taxation.
