of <h1>Maharashtra Amends GST Notification to Include Raw Cotton Supply by Agriculturists to Registered Persons Effective November 2017.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has amended the notification No. MGST-1017/C.R.103(3)/Taxation-1, dated 29th June 2017, under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from 15th November 2017, adds a new entry in the notification's table, specifically serial number 4A, concerning raw cotton. The amendment specifies that the supply of raw cotton by an agriculturist to any registered person will be subject to the provisions outlined. This change is made in the public interest based on the recommendations of the GST Council.
