of <h1>Karnataka Amends Notification to Exempt Monument Admissions, Clarify Fair Price Shop Services as Commission-Based Under PDS.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has amended Notification No. 12/2017-FD 48 CSL 2017 to extend the exemption for admission to protected monuments and consolidate entries 11A and 11B. The amendment specifies that services provided by Fair Price Shops to government entities involving the sale of essential items under the Public Distribution System will be considered as commission-based. Additionally, a new entry exempts services related to admission to protected monuments under relevant Acts. This amendment takes effect from November 15, 2017, as ordered by the Finance Department.
