Karnataka Tax Department Extends Deadline for FORM GST ITC-01 Filing to January 31, 2018, for Specific 2017 Periods.

The Karnataka Department of Commercial Taxes has issued a notification extending the deadline for registered persons to file FORM GST ITC-01. This extension applies to those who became eligible to avail input tax credit under section 18(1) of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, during July to November 2017. The new deadline for filing the declaration is now set for January 31, 2018. This notification supersedes the previous one from October 13, 2017, except for actions already taken or omitted before the supersession.
