of <h1>Himachal Pradesh Appoints CGST Officers for Refund Processing u/ss 54 and 55 of State GST Act.</h1> Notification No. 39/2017-State Tax, issued by the Government of Himachal Pradesh's Excise and Taxation Department, appoints officers under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, as proper officers for the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. These officers are authorized to process refund sanctions under sections 54 and 55 of the Himachal Pradesh GST Act for registered persons within their jurisdiction. The notification, dated November 15, 2017, is based on recommendations from the Council and is sanctioned by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
