of <h1>Bihar Government Amends GST Tax Rates: Clause (i) and (iii) Revised to Half Percent Effective January 2018.</h1> The Bihar Government has issued amendments to Notification No. S.O. 105 dated 29th June 2017, under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from 1st January 2018, the amendments include changes in the tax rate clauses: in clause (i), the tax rate is revised from 'one percent' to 'half percent,' and in clause (iii), the wording is updated to specify 'half percent of the turnover of taxable supplies of goods.' These changes are enacted by the Governor of Bihar on the Council's recommendations.
