of <h1>Arunachal Pradesh Updates GST: New Goods Classification Includes Handloom Textiles, Shawls, and More under Notification 29/2017.</h1> The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has amended Notification No. 29/2017-State Tax dated September 20, 2017, under the Arunachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments involve changes in the classification of certain goods. Serial number 9 now includes textile handloom products, handmade shawls, stoles, and scarves. Additionally, new entries have been added, including chain stitch, crewel, namda, gabba, wicker willow products, toran, and articles made of shoal, all categorized under any chapter. These changes are made following the recommendations of the Council.
