of <h1>Andhra Pradesh Amends GST Notification: New Entries for Duty Credit Scrips, Government Entity Definition, and Brand Name Affidavit.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh, under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. G.O.MS.No.582, effective from October 13, 2017. The amendments include the addition of entries in the Schedule, such as Duty Credit Scrips and provisions for the supply of goods by a government entity to various government bodies against grants. A new clause defines 'Government Entity' as an organization with significant government participation. Additionally, a proviso in Annexure I requires an affidavit for brand name rights when packing is done by a different entity.
