Odisha amends GST verification rules to include electronic codes from net banking and common portal, retroactive to 2017.

The Commissioner of State Tax in Odisha has amended a previous notification regarding verification methods under the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The amendment modifies clause (ii) to include electronic verification codes generated through net banking login on the common portal and electronic verification codes generated directly on the common portal. This change is retroactively effective from June 25, 2017.
