of <h1>Odisha GST Amendment: Changes in Tax Schedules Effective Retroactively from July 1, 2017, Following GST Council Advice.</h1> The notification amends a previous notification from June 29, 2017, under the Odisha Goods and Services Act, 2017. It involves changes in tax schedules: in Schedule I, Serial No. 180, the term '30' is replaced with '30 or any Chapter,' and in Schedule III, Serial No. 42, certain words are omitted. Additionally, in Serial No. 411, the words 'goggles and the like, corrective, protective or other' are removed. These amendments are effective retroactively from July 1, 2017. The notification is issued by the Finance Department of Odisha, following recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council.
