The amendment introduces new entries allowing exemptions for all goods, vessels, and ships (excluding motor vehicles) imported under lease, and lifesaving drugs certified by health authorities. Importers must provide certification and an undertaking to Customs authorities, ensuring the goods are used for personal purposes, with a penalty for non-compliance. This amendment is effective from November 14, 2017, under Notification No. 85/2017-Customs.
