of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 11/2017-UTT(R): New Tax Rates for Restaurants and Job Work on Handicraft Goods Effective Nov 15, 2017.</h1> The notification amends Notification No. 11/2017-UTT(R) to set a 2.5% tax rate for standalone restaurants and a 9% rate for others. It reduces the tax rate for job work on handicraft goods to 2.5% and revises the definition of 'Services provided' in item (vi) of the table. Changes include specifying tax rates for food and beverage services based on the location and accommodation tariffs, and clarifying the tax treatment for accommodation, food, and beverage services. The notification is effective from November 15, 2017.
