<h1>Bihar Government Amends Commercial Taxes Notification; Exemption Valid for Registered Persons Until March 31, 2018.</h1> The Bihar Government has issued an amendment to the Commercial Taxes Department Notification No. 8/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 29, 2017. As per the powers granted by the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and following the Council's recommendations, the proviso under Paragraph 1 of the original notification is omitted. The exemption provided in the amended notification will apply to all registered persons until March 31, 2018. This amendment is authorized by the Governor of Bihar and communicated by the Commissioner-cum-Principal Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Department.
