of <h1>India Updates Handicrafts List Under IGST Act with New Textile and Handmade Goods.</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 9/2017 to amend Notification No. 8/2017-Integrated Tax, dated 14th September 2017. This amendment adds new items to the list of 'handicrafts goods' under the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The revised list includes textile handloom products, handmade shawls, stoles, scarves, and additional items such as chain stitch, crewel, namda, gabba, wicker willow products, toran, and articles made of shola. These changes are enacted under the authority of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise and Customs.
