of <h1>Central Government Revokes 2017 Notification Under Prevention of Money-laundering Act, Effective Immediately. Prior Actions Unaffected.</h1> The Central Government has rescinded notification No. 4/2017, dated 23rd August 2017, under the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002. This decision, effective immediately, was published in the Gazette of India under G.S.R. 1223(E) on 6th October 2017. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted prior to this change. This notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
