of <h1>Meghalaya Appoints Commissioner of Taxes as Nodal Officer for State Level GST Anti-Profiteering Committee.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya's Excise, Registration, Taxation & Stamps Department has issued a notification appointing the Commissioner of Taxes, Meghalaya, as the Nodal Officer for the State Level Screening Committee for Anti-profiteering under the Goods and Services Tax (GST). This appointment is effective immediately and will remain in place until further orders. The notification follows directives from the GST Council Secretariat.
