of <h1>Gujarat Amends GST Notification: No Refund on Unutilized Tax Credit for Corduroy Fabrics, Effective 22nd September 2017.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has amended Notification No. 5/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated 30th June 2017, under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from 22nd September 2017, specifies that there will be no refund of unutilized tax credit on corduroy fabrics. This change is reflected by inserting a new entry, '6A 5801 Corduroy fabrics,' into the notification's table. The amendment was made following the recommendations of the GST Council and is issued by the Finance Department of Gujarat.
