of <h1>Madhya Pradesh Amends GST Act to Include E-commerce Housekeeping Services Like Plumbing and Carpentering.</h1> The Madhya Pradesh State Government has amended Notification No. FA-3-43-2017-1-V (55) dated June 30, 2017, under the Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from August 22, 2017, introduces a new clause regarding services provided through electronic commerce operators. Specifically, it includes housekeeping services such as plumbing and carpentering, except when the service provider is required to register under Section 22(1) of the Act. This change was made following the recommendations of the GST Council.
