Assam GST Rules Amended: Deadline Extensions for August 2017 Notifications in Official Gazette Now Effective.

The Government of Assam has issued amendments to the notification No. CT/GST-10/2017/192 dated 17th August 2017, under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. These amendments, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette, alter specific deadlines within the notification. The deadlines in the table for certain entries have been extended from 20th and 21st August 2017 to 25th and 26th August 2017, respectively. Additionally, the phrase "on or before 25th August 2017" is added to paragraph 2 concerning the electronic credit ledger. The changes are made under the authority of the Commissioner of State Tax, Assam.
