of <h1>Mizoram GST Act: Canteen Stores Department Eligible for 50% State Tax Refund on Supplies Since July 1, 2017.</h1> The Government of Mizoram, under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification specifying the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) under the Ministry of Defence as eligible for a refund. The CSD can claim a refund of 50% of the state tax paid on all inward supplies of goods for subsequent supply to Unit Run Canteens or authorized customers. This notification, recommended by the Council, is effective from July 1, 2017.
