of <h1>Assam GST Rules Amended: Rule 24 Sub-rule (3) Renumbered to (4), Effective from July 1, 2017.</h1> The Assam Goods and Services Tax (Third Amendment) Rules, 2017, enacted by the Governor of Assam, amends the principal Assam Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. Effective retroactively from July 1, 2017, this amendment specifically involves a change in rule 24, where the existing sub-rule (3) is renumbered as sub-rule (4). This amendment is authorized under section 164 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and is issued by the Finance (Taxation) Department of the Government of Assam.
