of <h1>India Rescinds Customs Notification No. 63/2017, Issued July 5, 2017, Citing Public Interest Under Customs Act, Section 25.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), has issued Notification No. 69/2017 - Customs, dated 31st July 2017. This notification rescinds the earlier Notification No. 63/2017-Customs, dated 5th July 2017. The rescission is executed under the authority granted by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, as it is deemed necessary in the public interest. The notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary.
