of <h1>India Adds Niger and Guinea to Customs Notification List u/s 25(1) of the Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 68/2017-Customs, dated 27th July 2017, to amend Notification No. 96/2008-Customs from 13th August 2008. This amendment, made under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, adds the Republic of Niger and the Republic of Guinea to the list of countries in the notification's schedule. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest. The original notification was last amended on 23rd August 2016 by Notification No. 46/2016-Customs.
