of <h1>CBDT Rescinds Notifications u/s 118 of Income-tax Act, 1961; No Impact on Past Actions Taken or Omitted.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes, under the Ministry of Finance, has rescinded certain notifications under Section 118 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, in the interest of the public. The notifications being rescinded include S.O. 1614(E) from September 26, 2006, S.O. 2024(E) from November 30, 2007, and S.O. 3250(E) from October 25, 2013. This action does not affect any actions taken or omitted before this rescission. The notification becomes effective upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
