This portal facilitates registration, tax payment, return filing, and the computation and settlement of integrated tax and electronic way bills. The website is managed by the Goods and Service Tax Network, a company under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013. This notification is effective from June 22, 2017, following the decision of the 17th Goods and Services Tax Council.
