Assam Designates www.gst.gov.in as Official GST Portal u/s 146 for Tax Services and Management.

The Government of Assam, under the authority of the Governor, has designated www.gst.gov.in as the Common Goods and Services Tax Electronic Portal as per section 146 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This portal is intended to facilitate various GST-related activities, including registration, tax payment, return filing, and the management of integrated tax and electronic waybills. The portal is managed by the Goods and Services Tax Network, a company established under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. This notification became effective on June 22, 2017.
