of <h1>Jammu & Kashmir GST Act 2017: Canteen Stores Dept. Can Claim 50% State Tax Refund on Inward Goods Supplies.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification allowing the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) under the Ministry of Defence to claim a refund of 50% of the state tax paid on all inward supplies of goods. This entitlement applies to goods intended for supply to Unit Run Canteens or authorized customers of the CSD. The notification, effective immediately, was issued by the Finance Department of Jammu and Kashmir.
