of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir GST Act 2017 Begins: Notification Issued Under SRO-281, Effective July 8, 2017.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a notification under SRO-281, dated July 8, 2017, announcing the commencement of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The Act will be effective from July 8, 2017, as per the powers granted by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Act. This decision was authorized by the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.
