Commencement of Jammu and Kashmir GST Act: executive notification fixes the date for the Act to come into force. The State Government, under sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, by executive notification issued by the Finance Department, appoints a specific date as the date from which the Act shall come into force, signed by the Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Finance Department.
