of <h1>Delhi GST Exemption for CSD Supplies to Unit Run Canteens Effective July 2017 Under Public Interest Clause.</h1> The notification issued by the Finance Department of the National Capital Territory of Delhi exempts certain supplies of goods from the state tax under the Delhi Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from July 1, 2017, the exemption applies to goods supplied by the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) to Unit Run Canteens and authorized customers, as well as goods supplied by Unit Run Canteens to authorized customers. The exemption is based on the recommendations of the Council and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The notification specifies that the relevant tariff items and chapters are as per the Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
