This approval, effective from April 1, 1990, to March 31, 1991, requires the Trust to maintain separate accounts for research funds, submit annual research activity returns by May 31, and provide audited financial accounts by June 30 each year to relevant authorities. The Trust must apply for an extension of approval three months before expiry, with applications sent to the Director-General of Income-tax (Exemptions) and the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
